   Project Griffin Refresher Programme

The Refresher programme was introduced to help learners who have attended the awareness day to re-visit, refresh and keep themselves up to date with the latest key messages from the Police. Companies whose staff has attended an Awareness day may wish to become a Centre for delivery of the Programme, which is available to learners who completed and were certificated for the Awareness day more than 6 months before registering for the Refresher Programme. The Programme involves a mix of interactive, video clips and question and answer sections guiding learners as they work through each module. The learner is encouraged to refresh and re-visit the module as many times as they wish to ensure that they are confident about the message being delivered. Successful completion will be registered on the Centre’s administration section showing the modules completed by each learner and a certificate may be purchased.

There is a simple process to become involved with the Programme and Companies wishing to offer training to their staff will need to download, complete and submit the Centre Approval Form

> To download the Centre Approval Form please click here <

This form outlines the minimum specification for the PC’s being used to complete the Refresher Programme as well as asking for details of those who will be administering the programme, as the Centre will be responsible for creating a log in and password for each learner they wish to register. Skills for Security will provide step by step instructions to the Centre once approved as well as creating a log-in and password for each administrator and this will be emailed through to the contact names provided on the application form. A centre may have up to 10 administrators who will take responsibility for looking after the learners within their venue for the annual fee of £150 plus vat. This payment helps to support the development of Griffin including new modules, updates to existing modules and administrative support by Skills for Security, none of which can take place without the payments made and support offered by the companies who become involved with the Project. For larger companies up to 10 additional Delivery Venues can be added to the Centre for the fee of £150 plus vat. For more information please contact the Skills for Security Customer Service Team on 0845 075 0111.
